Converting L visa to F visa, Still Possible??

I was in China a couple of years ago and had to leave, like many did, because of the Olympics. Now Im thinking about coming back, but am not sure about the new visa policies.

Is it still possible to come into China with a L visa and convert it to a F visa, and just keep extending it?

Need advice from people whos been through all this. What documents will I need, whats up with this business invitation letter and so on...

These days the policies about visa is very strict.And we can not do it now.
However, maybe later, we can help you change the L visa to F visa, if not, you can extend your L visa at first, then change it to F visa. More questions, you can tell me.
