a beijing girl and her mother-in-law

Re: a beijing girl and her mother-in-law

What the hell are they talking about...

Can you translate it to English, Cantonese or Japanese? even French will possibly make more sense....

No words are racist. Actions are racist.
Say what you need to explain yourself.
If you are not racist it will shine through.

Re: a beijing girl and her mother-in-law

Body language says enough... Plain Face

Stay Hungry!

Pain is a requirement, not a curse

Re: a beijing girl and her mother-in-law

Body language? Well, I didn't even watch that far...

How come Jane Eyre hasn't paid any attention to my LOST IN AUSTEN thread.... Crying

Re: a beijing girl and her mother-in-law

Because Jane Eyre was written by Charlotte Bronte.

Re: a beijing girl and her mother-in-law

Crazy old bitch.

Re: a beijing girl and her mother-in-law

Seems your are tired also exhausting.

不怕神一样的敌人 就怕猪一样的队友

Re: a beijing girl and her mother-in-law

@ Mockingbird You are lovely.

The fight is about a chore. That girl wanna buy an electric appliance from that shopping mall because they will be given a special discount. But her mother-in-law doesn't agree with her. She want them(the girl and her son) to buy another brand in another shop. The girl can't persuade her mother-in-law so she eventually says , like, "I don't care about what you think". Her words stimulates the old lady and she begins to speak loudly. She expresses that the young girl has no right to scorn her mother-in-law. She can't obey her like her son, etc. Hope my explanation is clear enough for you.

I think the old lady is a bit overstepped.

Re: a beijing girl and her mother-in-law

Overstepped for sure. She saw the audience was listening and gave it her best performance.

Sometimes the same is different, but mostly, it's the same.

Laughing you got me, Yunrui...

I am not very interested in stuff in the Jerry Springer show..don't have the patient to watch it either...

If I pass by, I possibly run as fast as I can to avoid them. I always have this "Mind your own business" type of attitude..

Thanks, Jane! Oh, over such a tiny thing?!
Whose money anyway? If the girl and her BF pay for it, they buy whatever they want; but if it is out of the monster's wallet, well, then....shrug, no free lunch in the world...suppose she has to entertain the monster before she uses her money...

Re: a beijing girl and her mother-in-law

Thank god my in-laws live in a different province and aren't nongs. My mom in-law would never do something like that. And if she did she'd quietly tell my wife about it behind closed doors.

Re: a beijing girl and her mother-in-law

My mother in law has real class and dignity.

That lady is just a nose-nugget digging, loogie spitting nong.

Re: a beijing girl and her mother-in-law

It's an issue of control isn't it.

She has no self-control obviously. And if she doesn't have control over every situation, her son, and her daughter-in-law, this is the result.
Imagine the type of sh*t this poor girl will have to put up with if she has a kid to the guy. What a f***ed life.

Sometimes the same is different, but mostly, it's the same.

Re: a beijing girl and her mother-in-law

She'll never see the kid, especially if its a boy.

She will be relentlessly bullied by this old bitch until she is so worn down that she will just hand the baby over.

Sad.

Re: a beijing girl and her mother-in-law

Thank god my girlfriends parents are intelligent, civilized Chinese people.

Poor girl.
You can take the Nong out of the Cun but you can never take the Cun out of the Nong.....or the Nong out of the Nong. Tongue

Re: a beijing girl and her mother-in-law

My MIL is borderline. I got the 'This is China' speech from her the other day.
This speech can be tailored to any situation. It's unique in that way. And according to her there's nothing that can be said in response to it which is a reasonable counter-argument or defense.

Such is the finality of the 'This is China' speech.

Sometimes the same is different, but mostly, it's the same.

Re: a beijing girl and her mother-in-law

haha! yeah, there is such beautiful finality to it.
it never gets old, too.
i think it was beijing rob (miss that guy) that said:
'it's like arguing with a dishwasher' ...or something to that effect...
here's a family guy take on it.

A Mule: "No sorry, Kevin Beacon wasn’t in Footloose."
Guy: "What!?, of course he was."
A Mule: "No he wasn’t, you lose."
Guy: "Of course he was, he was the star."
A Mule: "Nope, you’re wrong. Look it up."
Guy: "I don’t have to look it up, it’s common knowledge…"
A Mule: "Nope.."
Guy: "he was on the cover…"
A Mule: "Nope…"
Guy: "of people magazine..."
A Mule: "Nope.."
Guy: "when the movie…"
A Mule: "No…"
Guy: "Everyone knows..."
A Mule: "No."
Guy: "that…."
A Mule: "No!.."
Guy: "Kevin Beacon.."
A Mule: "NO!"
Guy: "was the star…"
A Mule: "NO!"
Guy: "in Footloose.."
A Mule: "NO!"
Guy: "It was a huge movie,…"
A Mule: "NO!"
Guy: "he was the lead."
A Mule: "NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! NO! Heehaw! Heehaw! Heehaw!"

aaaaaaaah, china! Love Struck

oh yeah? well, let me ask you this: shut up!
contemporary china = crouching tension, hidden anger.

My future MIL isn't a nong, but doesn't speak Mandarin. Not even a bit. Blurkette only ever translates what she knows won't piss me off. She seems pretty cool, but I really wouldn't know. It's perfect. Party

...and that's when I decided to blame wave.

Re: a beijing girl and her mother-in-law

Both my wife's parents have passed away so no problems there. This was a definite plus in weighing up marriage.

Re: a beijing girl and her mother-in-law

hahahhaha funny video

i love the gal, white, slim.my type! Drooling

Re: a beijing girl and her mother-in-law

My GF says the mother was yelling because her son doesn't listen to her and only listens to the young woman. She's a jealous old woman. Then she accused the young woman of having no manners.

I demand good spices.
