Is it true that Harbin is a shithole full of angry people who love nothing more than to start fights with foreigners?

Absolutely not, of course there's some really friendly people from Harbin but at the end of the day (Otto hates that phrase) there's good and bad everywhere.

I liked Harbin. I found that people didn't stare as much and there was some really nice architecture.

Not in my book, May be people are straightforward in Harbin.They are very kind in nature.
