Well, there are already two kebab joints in slt and they both seem to be doing well.
Personally I'd love a slightly cheaper, maybe even smaller, kebab.
Sometimes I feel it is maybe unbearable always be traditional Chinese girl.
yup. shuangjing.
plenty of foreigners here and close enough to slt for deliveries or whatever.
make'em better than the kebab republic, please. their lahmacun is just sad...
deliver. maybe do a 24h delivery.
you'll make money, im sure.
just keep the meat fresh and fed something better than what the locals use.
i hope you import ayran, yeni raki, cheese, and
maybe you put some kinds of dolma on the menu.
i love the sea-food ones but the grape leaves are fine, also.
i will probably be at least 5% of your profits!
@wef,
speaking of lily's,
they seriously lost plenty of my business when they stopped delivering 24/7.
no idea why they did this, too...
im sure they made plenty of money from the late night deliveries...
i just can not make myself have something so deliciously evil before 4am...
Lily said they were basically too tired of working 24/7 most of the time for what amounted to very few orders.
Understandable when you consider that its just her and a couple of lackeys running the place.
But yeah, major shame.
A lily's burger was the perfect way to end a night out.
Thanks to everyone for comments, I have been living in BJ for 4 years, i know the taste and business of others very well, thats why I wanna do this job here in BJ:) besides we know restaurant business, we alreay have some places in Turkey. I assure that our taste is better, prices are cheaper and provide 24/7 home delivery service.
I think the one called kebab republic is still opening, but it's bit like a fast food type. Maybe you can take a look there. It's in the first floor of le petit building.

I have been there thousands times, i mean kebab republic. yeah taste is so so,lahmacun is a disaster, and prices are a little bit high, but to be honest at the end of the night at SLT usually saved my life..I hope we can do better and see all of u guys at my place soon.
Kebab Republic is ok, better than so so, but a bit sloppy. Something you want to grab and go home so you can chuck it on a plate and not stain your clothes.
If you can improve on what they've got going, you'll attract the crowds.

I would seriously love a Turkish Kebab place nearby though.
I love it but no way is it worth going to SLT for. Wish I could just order one.

Yeah traffic here is somehow worse than Guomao.
It's also one of the only areas in town where it can be really hard to get a cab.

Admin should open a new sister-site, like Beijing-Kids but about Shuangjing.
Each branch topic can discuss different aspects of how amazing it, and everyone that lives there is.
Magnificent with me in Shuangjing!!!

In regards to OP's original question, I'd suggest you consider another location, maybe Shuangjing.
Sanlitun is a filthy shithole filled with the absolute scum of the expat population.
I end up there sometimes on drunken nights, but I usually regret it.

May I ask a question? well, why don't they do beef in Turkish kebab restaurants?
No words are racist. Actions are racist.
Say what you need to explain yourself.
If you are not racist it will shine through.

Where exactly is Shuangjing? Has it achieved destination status yet?
I try to avoid SLT like the plague.
