The Monkey King bloodline shall continue
I am pleased to report the birth of Monkey King, Jr. on August 8. (Hen haoyun, shi bu shi?)
The young lad is doing well after a mostly problem-free delivery in a Midwestern U.S. hospital. Mother and American family members are doting on him while his proud father has returned to China to see if his business has gone to sh*t during his absence.
The kid will be coming back to China with his mother soon, along with several crates of American formula and other essentials that, to the best of my knowledge, are unlikely to poison or deform him. Then I figure I've got 30 months to decide what country he starts kindergarten in.
Samantha, I hope you'll post any lessons you're learning about what to do and not to do with a baby in this environment. I suddenly find myself a lot more paranoid than I was before the birth about the 800 or so ways Beijing is less safe than my hometown for an infant to live in.
So, that's my news. What've I missed here?

You have missed little, same shite different day! The forum trolls and thread hijackers are still up to their predictable business.
Congratulations on your new sprog, life certainly changes, for the better I'd say. I think the Chinese have a proverb that states something along the lines of...a baby in the family is like the sun in the heavens.
If you haven't got one, get a handicam! Best buy I've made. They grow so quickly.

Hey congrats, and welcome back.
You haven't missed too much. I think your downfall might have begun at some point while you were gone...
Sometimes I feel it is maybe unbearable always be traditional Chinese girl.

Re: The Monkey King bloodline shall continue
Yes, I noticed some obvious signs of...activity.
That's cool, I'm glad you all continued to enjoy yourselves.
And no worries about the mess; I don't have the place covered wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling with plastic sheets for nothing, after all. ( I got that idea from some "saloon" I'd read about somewhere.)
I already tore down the most recently "used" layer, and the place looks good as new.
So I'm already pretty much set up for this Friday. And since it's been so long for me, I call first with the gimp!
(By the way, thanks to whoever thought to feed him while I was away. In hindsight, the half dozen bags of milk I threw in his cage as an afterthought before I left were probably not nearly enough to last a month and a half.)

Re: The Monkey King bloodline shall continue
The Marquis de Sade is claimed to have given aniseed-flavored pastilles that were laced with Spanish fly to prostitutes at an orgy in 1772. He was sentenced to death for poisoning and sodomy, but later reprieved on appeal.
In Medicine & Podiatry, it is used as a topical application for treatment of benign epithelial growths including most warts.
In order to determine if a death had taken place by the effects of Spanish fly, investigators resorted to the vesicación test. One of those test methods consisted of rubbing part of the internal organs of the deceased, dissolved in oil, on the shaved skin of a rabbit; the absorption of the cantharides and its blistering effect are such that they became visible on the skin of the rabbit.
Trust me, it's so danger.

TY NNNNY.
While I wouldn't look forward to a scenario in which I would be making MILF/cougar recommendations to my son, I fully believe you would be an excellent choice.
In fact, come to think of it, if he does reveal such proclivities, I will recommend you.

Yeah, I've managed to shirk that job so far but don't think I can avoid it indefinitely.
Actually, does anyone know where I can buy matching split-ass pants for the boy and myself? Might be as good a time as any to go native.

Re: The Monkey King bloodline shall continue
You can get anything at the silk market. You might even get a discount if the tailors don't need to sew in the crotch.
Don't you guys already have those for Friday get togethers?

Congrats, man. It's going to be an adventure raising him here if that's what you decide to do. But then again your son will have awesome stories of his childhood.

Well, we hope so, of course.
The little sh*t will probably master Mandarin long before I do. I'm the one that's going to have to work hard to help him keep pace with his English.
