Hey, I live by The Place, and the other day I walked by an office building where the American Chamber of Commerce is located, and I see a sign on the second floor, TicTac, it's your hairsalon. I went up out of curiosity, and was greeted by very friendly staff. They weren't very good at english, but they called a stylist called Chris, who was born in Sweden, and he spoke english fluently. I just wanted a trim, but ended up getting highlights as well.
I was very pleased with the results, service and the proffessional attitude everyone in the salon had. The view from there is really nice! The Place is just across the street, and it's a great place to do some ppl watching while sipping on some wine and waiting for the color to develope. The price was very acceptable, and I'm definatley going back to them again! The only thing is that the personals there seemed nervous when a foreigner comes in.. guess they're not used to it. But Chris was relaxed and did all the talking. Now I don't have to be stuck in traffic in order to go to sanlitun for an overpriced haircut and color!!! A 5 out of 5!
