I'm in Shanghai right now(always was), 22 years old and doing a traineeship here in Shanghai before I'm gonna attend to university in germany.

So what I'm trying to get at by this is: Yes we both are too young for a regular Z Visa according to what the HR director said and the agencies.

I have been to Shanghai 18 month until now and during that time I always obtained my F Visa through my agency. When I just came to Shanghai they could help you to extand your Tourist visa from a tourist one to a business visa(6month or 12 month). But as I remember 12 month ago the goverment changed sth. and my agency could no longer get me a 1 year F Visa so I had to be satisfied with the 6 month F visa. And when that was about to expire the goverment changed some policies again and you could only obtain a 3 month one.

The problem right now is that, during the EXPO, the goverment figured out that around 80%(thats what i was told,correct me if im wrong) of all foreigner got their F Visa through a Visa Agencie. So the goverment shut the only place in Beijing down where the agencies could get them the F Visa. Also the agencies here in Shanghai got the Visa from that place in Beijing.

Now It is said that no one can receive a F Visa right now because the goverment is still about to change that policy. I can hardly believe that but...
...thats why I had to go to Hongkong couple of weeks ago in order to apply for a Tourist Visa(30 days). And in hope that the goverment will bring up some results concerning the F Visa when I come back from Hongkong.But they didnt so far and I got 16 days left. My agency guy said the policy might change in the end of this month.But I dont buy that...I think it will take one further month after the EXPO ends. It's clearly the same situation like in Beijing after the Olympic Games.

If someone is out there who could prove I'm wrong and there is a option to get a Visa without leaving china, that one please contact me.Agencies or whoever. everyone is welcome

You have a Tourist visa now ?iam afraid that you can't change your tourist visa to F visa in china mainland.Now we can extend the F visa ,but at first you should get a visa from chinese embassy in HK,or in your own country and after you come back ,and we can help you to extend it for 6 months .

If you have a job and your company can provide the document required from the working visa application, the age is not a big deal. our company can deal with that.

If you work in China with an F visa,I think it's not legal, and not good for you.
