How to stop mobile phone scammers and THIEVES

Anyone know a way to block the scammers that use premium rate call back scams "missed calls" etc and spam sms?

I'd be interested in knowing if there's a way to block SMS spams.
I get, without exaggeration, upwards of a DOZEN spam SMS's every god damn day. It's ridiculously annoying. How did they even get my number? Maybe I should stop leaving my name cards on the subway hoping some meinv will find it

I'm considering changing my number it's so bad, but then it's a hassle getting everyone in my phonebook to update my number....

Sometimes I feel it is maybe unbearable always be traditional Chinese girl.

you can forward the sms messages to 12110.

But other than that, i really don't know.I answered a phone call once, and ever since then i get three prank calls a day, It's horrible, noone knows how to stop these scammers.
I don't even know how they got my number?
perhaps from typing my phone number at starbucks for free wifi??????
somebody help!
