Re: Super-important Inforrmation for English Language ...

That is delicious.

Sometimes the same is different, but mostly, it's the same.

I feel so boring when reading that list. There are many many for choosing from.

Sometimes the same is different, but mostly, it's the same.

can also retire "famou[r]s" "diligent" and "clever"

I remember having an English teacher in middle school who dropped compositions a whole letter grade any time she saw 'nice' or 'good' and I think 'a lot'. She said they were lazy words and advertised that you weren't willing to use your brain. She also had one of those ring for service type bells and she would slam her hand on it if she heard a grammar mistake in class, then offer bonus points for anyone who could correct.
She was an awesome teacher.

Hmmm, my memorable Junior High School teacher was Miss Sherman; besides being beautiful, sometimes she must have been in a hurry to get dressed in the AMs and forgot to wear panties. She mostly just let us all ring our own bells after class; she never rang any bells that I knew of. She taught French. I think she was aware that during class most of the boys already had bonus points. Most days I had to cover my bonus point with a book just to get out of that classroom.

A better Idea would be to show by example!

Shakespeare Coined the phrase "in a pickle", Queen Elizabeth I ate sweets until her teeth rotted, Einstein failed his college-entrance exam. They probably didn't want you to know.....Power to the user! Michael
