so true, who cares? the stuff is panther piss! I see it displayed here in China like it is mothers milk. Also the hype here for that horrible booze in a white bottle, what is it called? Moutai, or something like that, pure piss!

Stick with good vodka, it is all you need and they say the darker booze leads to worse hangovers.

People drink what they like, dude. Myself included. Some like vodka others whiskey...

Chivas is a decent blend - but it's a lot like Glenlivet and other mainstream Scotch whiskeys. It has a nice bottle, good marketing, and most people don't know what they're talking about so they buy it. My uncle was a bartender and loves Glenlivet. I enjoy single malts and have to say that it's the most characterless of scotches I've tried. Talisker, Auchentoshan, and a couple others do it for me...but they're hard to get in Beijing so I stick with...
