My new Chinese company is at the stage that it needs to start reporting monthly and quarterly to various Chinese tax agencies, so I'd like to find an accountant.

I have found some, but they seem quite impersonally and expensive for the amount of service they provide.

If anyone that has a WFOE (esp. if you are from the US, as my home country is the US), I'd appreciate any advise or recommendations.

My US accountant's general advise was that I keep my accounting as simple as possible in China, having the Chinese company only report on its expenses and revenue it receives/pays out in China, with my US company paying for expenses incurred outside of China (the US government does not need a fapiao to document every expense) receiving payments from all customers that prefer to pay a US company rather than a Chinese company, with an occasional reconciling of the payments between the two companies.
