The lies. They think of it as a form of higher intelligence or something. Everytime they do this I just want to kick their ass. The women do it more than the men from what I have seen.
If you tell me to leave China and go back to whatever country I'm from with morals, I will rape you.

You can never trust merchants here.
There are two fruit stores near where I live.
I used to go to the former because the saleman always smiled at me and told me, " I usually charge 6rmb half a kilo for this, but to you, I charge only 5rmb." Oh I felt so special and kept coming back. Then one day I felt fruits I bought should be heavier and I went to check on another scale and yeah, they were lighter than what they should have been. I never went back ever since.
Then the latter, I asked them to pick a drgaon fruit for me and I believed them. It was dark at night, I didn't see clearly. When I got home, the dragon fruit is all rotten.
Why the f*** do they do that to me? Considering I go there every day.
They just don't f-ing care.

1 mao today is worth more to them then any customer returning the next day to buy more. There is no loyalty here so don't plan to give them any loyalty.

+1000 Oh and saving face is also an excuse for everything. Funny part is that chinese have absolutely no problem being straightforward and rude with you but they are sensitive like freaking pussies when it come to them. Basically they expect you to treat them well while being rude with you.
Oh and also, WTF is wrong with chinese and english? Do they have a very perticular brain impairement? Ive seen villagers in the middle of the jungle in Indonesia with better english than Phd's in Bejing.

I just hate the general day to day inconsiderateness of people.
Like in the supermarket today the woman in front of me just had to finish a conversation on her cell phone like it ain't no thing holding up the queue for 5 minutes before finally hanging up and then slowly reaching for her wallet. Not even any attempt to speed it up so the people behind wouldn't have to wait so long.
There's just not a thought wasted on anybody else.

They also have some type of inner ear wall that prevents them from hearing any word u might say that makes sense.
Anyway these things aren't culture since China basically has none. It is just a society existing with no moral foundation.

Freaking. Hongbaos. I hate how you're expected to like, give these to people just out of some weird cultural obligation. The worst was when this graphic designer joined my office and after 2 weeks he was getting married. Nobody knew him but my boss was still like, oh you guys have to give 100 yuan each for his hongbao.
I hate the forced donation sh*t, like for the Sichuan earthquake and any other charitable thing a company here does. You have to give not because you want to but because you're expected to and basically forced cause if you don't everyone loses face and you look like a bitch. Bullsh*t.
Of course, I don't mind when I get a hongbao though

was it really necessary to force anyone to donate for victims of the sichuan earthquake?
at that time i felt really miserable because i could not leave my company, had to stay in beijing, could not go to sichuan and help myself. the only think i could do was to organize donation in my company
i agree that donations should always be made voluntarily. but in the moment we have too little, not too much charity and corporate social responsibility in china

All the donated money did was pay for new Audi's for local Sichuan officials.

Walking into a restaurant parking lot with a friend last weekend.
There's a Chinese guy in a QQ sitting there. My friend is walking in front of me and suddenly the guy in the QQ accelerates, slamming on the brakes inches from my friend.
I continue walking and give him a "what the f***" head shake and tell him to "go slowly, be careful" in Chinese.
The little goof leaps from his car and I don't have to tell you what he starts shouting. "GO BACK YOUR HOME THIS IS CHINA NI MA BI SHA BI, etc".
I laugh at him and head to the restaurant, sit down and start looking at the menu. We're talking about what a clown the guy is and how shitty QQ cars are when he flies into the restaurant in a full blown rage, starts banging on the table like a child, pointing at his phone, etc.
Full blown rage, and he's the one who almost hit us.
Did I want to hit him, yes I did, but I composed myself simply pointed and laughed until he stormed off with promises of impending death by "brothers".

The way of doing business.
My company is an authorised distributors of Italian Jacuzzis. We had a huge project coming a couple of weeks ago. In the first place we were informed by the constructor that the quantity of bathtubs in need is 300 pieces for each brand, there were two brands, so that made it 600 in total. I was responsible for negotiating price discount with Italians and I managed to gain my company another 20 percent of discount on the grounds of the large quantity of this project. As a result, my company was the mostly likely winner of this project, because of the reputation of Jacuzzi and the newly reduced price. Then a week later the constructor changed the quantity. The number of the brand which used to be 300 now is 65, the constructor replaced the rest with a few very cheap brands and requested to go with the same price discount, or my company will lose the bid. I was so ashamed to tell Italians.
I told my supervisor, “ this is very low. ”
He was like, “ it is the same way all around the world, you will get used to it sooner or later.”
