Dear friends,

If YOU ARE:
1 18-26 years old European Americans, or Canadians, or English (first language or native language must be ENGLISH)
2 RIGHT handed AND has normal or corrected normal (with glasses) vision.

You are welcomed to take participate in this paid study (350 Chinese Yuan) on cultural differences in decision making. The data collection on Chinese sample has already finished and now we need a sample of participants (25 in total) that represents Western culture.

You will be showed a series of words one by one on the screen and make judgments by pressing assigned keys. The Electroencephalography (EEG) will be recorded during the task. The EEG technique, which has been widely used in brain research for over 50 years, is no harm to human at all. Your identity as a participant would be confidential and the data would be used only for scientific research.

The whole experiment will last two and half hours. As compensation, you would be paid 300 Chinese Yuan and another 50 Yuan for taxi fare (350 Yuan in total).

9:00am-11:30am, or 2:00pm-4:30pm
