Rating system

Dear Admin,
Please consider adding a rating system which allows to rate a user who post in the classified. Right now the classified are full with false ads ("I am not an agent!" or "I am a hot girl!" are rather popular) making it almost useless. If there would be a rating system people could know if people are honest/offering something for real or just going to waste time. I understand that people who post false ads full of lies would just make a new account but at the very least this way if somebody has a good rating you could be somewhat sure he is not a total waste of time.
I wouldn´t extend this to the general forum, seeing how everybody seems to hate everybody..but please, make something like this happen for the classified! q_q

But then, it would basically only be useful for schools/housing agents posting ads.
A better way is for people to simply ask for opinions about certain ads, from other people on the Forum.
The way you have suggested has been discussed before, but the benefit/effort ratio is just too high right now.

I don´t think asking people for opinions is really better. Considering that you have to open up a thread for every request and have to hope that the one person on this site/in this city has experience reads this one thread and decideds to reply to it..
Pretty slim chances in my opinion. Rating somebody is usually something you do after you have experienced something, which can then be reviewed easily till the end of time (or maybe not that long).
I understand that such a system requires (coding-)effort, but right now I personally find the classified pretty messy as you kinda have to expect to not get whats advertised, thus making the whole thing pointless.
It would also help reducing the amount of time admins need to work on silly stuff. For example if all the agents in the classified section who put there shitty ad under "searching roommate" when in fact they never search for any kind of roommate and just spam the ad to get as much attention as possible they would get downvoted (think reddit style) into oblivion and nobody would waste their time. If things go well this might even chance some peoples attitude. Sound optimistic? Well yeah, but it works for reddit..
