Apparently, there are chemicals being sprayed for ticks. Summer is high season for ticks. And Beijing has been crawling with them. These chemicals are causing a type of allergic reaction in some dogs. The spraying of these chemicals is also not just in Capital Paradise. Recently, a dog passed away in a diplomatic compound and another in Sanlitun area.

We are all advised to ask our compound management to announce a schedule of pesticide spraying and to erect signs in tick sprayed areas.
