Would like to go to the sea on a weekend trip, leave Friday afternoon, return Sunday night.
Beidaihe is easy to access, but i assume 20% of Beijing's population will be there during the weekend.
Have been to Nandaihe a few years ago, but I assume it will also be very crowded during this time of the year.
In China most people tend to concentrate in a very small area. Just leave the "famous" place and you can still find quiet places.
Has anyone been north of Baidaihe or south of Nandaihe (in a range of 50km or so) and found a nice, quiet beach?
