ChinaTurtle Double Seventh Group Dating (6th August 2011)
- Forwarded from Chinese Overseas Graduates' Network

To all ChinaTurtles, perhaps we studied abroad for our dreams and backed to town in our 30s; perhaps we have been much devoted to work and let love slip away once again; perhaps we have chosen living simply and kept moving here and there; perhaps we have a lot of reasons to be single.

Bird has a nest; worm has a hole; we need a home.

Being acquainted with all kinds of match-making programs, a lot of us are still single, frequently suggesting a group dating event for ourselves. The main reason why we are still searching is because love needs time though most match-making programs go way too fast to let us communicate more.

Therefore we would like to invite the singles here to join our group dating in Beijing Botanical Garden on 6th August 2011, the Double Seventh Festival.

Were you interested, please send your contact information including name, phone number and gender to chinaturtle@yahoo.com by 12.00 noon, 4th August 2011. The registration time will be the time when your emails arrive at the above mentioned email box.

We are going to inform you of participation 24 hours before the event starts, i.e. 11.00 am 5th August 2011. In case of rain, hails or other inconvenient weather conditions, we are going to cancel this event 24 hours before it starts and forward the registration list including names and email addresses only to all of confirmed participants, so that we can still keep the opportunity to know each other.

Time: 11.00 am, 6th August 2011 (Double Seventh Festival)
Venue: Beijing Botanical Garden
Activities: Learn new friends, take a walk, chat, games
Participation: Free
Other Costs: Going Dutch, all persons pay for their own costs
Number of Participants: Around 20 people. We will calculate the number of ladies and gentlemen separately, that is to say, once there are 10 ladies, we will stop accepting more ladies; the same rule applies to head counting for gentlemen.

Code of Conduct for all participants:
- Be on time;
- Respect each other;
- Leave your frequently used contacts to those whom you like.

Please feel free to email us with any doubt or suggestion. Thank you.
