Starting an art studio in Beijing?

Hi, I'll be relocating to Beijing in 3 weeks' time. I am a glass hobbyist and used to have a small home studio. I'm looking to start up a small studio in Beijing as well, as a hobbyist. Can anyone give me any advice / tips / suggestions?
- I need a small space at around RMB4000 or less / month
- The kiln I'll be using is 220V, 3600-4800 watts
- There will be quite a lot of other glass tools all with high demand of electricity
- I may possibly be installing hot torches so there will be naked fire - supervised use only

Does anyone know where I can find such a space? Besides 798 is there a community for pottery/metal / painting studios?

Thanks much!

Re: Starting an art studio in Beijing?

Is this blown glass and handmade stuff? I helped a friend glassblower in his studio and took some lessons. I am not that serious about it, but I miss working with glass.

If you are still getting stuff ready (perhaps you already have), I could help you pay for some of the costs in exchange for some time practicing.

Are you still looking for a studio?
