I signed the contract with TERA WELLNESS FITNESS last july. Then they told me that at the end of august I could start using their machines, so I decided to wait... To my surprise I went there last sunday, and there´s nothing there, not even a running machine!!! Now they told me that I need to wait until the end of october. Of course, I didn´t accept this condition, as I´m leaving Beijing next June. But the point it´s that they don´t want to give me the money back. I´m still thinking the best way to give them pressure: any suggestions will be well received!

I agree this place sounds rather sketchy... I got handed a flyer for this place after walking by it for two months and never noticing ANY activity outside the sign where it is supposedly located. I told the guy I'd think about taking a look sometime and he seemed much more interested in how long I was staying and in telling me about their great equipment rather than actually SHOWING me anything. This has never happened at another gym here in Beijing... anyone know what the deal is with this place? I went once to the location at Sanyuanqiao in Phoenix city (a friend who lives out there belongs) and I thought the facility was OK. Machines not bad, classes minimal, but nice swimming pool.

Thank you very much for awaring us about this plcae. I got the flyer to visit there for fitness. As, now you hav awared us about the place, I am not going to vist there. Instead I am thinking of buying some fitness and some other machines like trademill, Exercise Bikes and tanning beds.
Hope you will get your money back.
