Using Union Pay cards in Japan

I'm going to Japan in a few weeks and all my money is in my bank of china account. Is it easier to withdraw from ATMs using Union Pay cards? Has anyone done this before...?

If that ATM card is International then you can withdraw you money anytime. For International card there are certain charges which should be paid annually. Make sure you have that facility on your card then it is easy to withdraw your money from ATMs.
