What's worse is their ads. Take the time to browse the places put up on 58.com. Even when it's an agent posting a rental place, they take pictures of the same absolutely unhelpful things. The dirty stove. The shitty bathroom. And a living room that includes a bunch of grumpy looking chinese people standing around.

Or the pictures are just fake.

Don't you think if all the people put the real pic as yours, that would be too boring ? Don't you think a carton pic is much more vivid and dramatic ?

I don't know about fake pictures, BUT I am interested to know why (It seems to me) most Chinese when they take a picture is always giving this victory or friendship sign or whatever meaning u attach to it?

It seems totally a 100% Chinese thing to do. And when I see the Chinese do it, I automatically exclude any chance of trying to know them closer because to me it indicates are little travelled they are.

Does anyone know REALLY why this seems to be a popular thing to do in pictures from the Chinese?
