Even though the Braves went on to Milwaukee and Atlanta, they were from Boston, played most of their years there, and it was with them in Boston that Babe Ruth finished and Henry Aaron started. Anyone who personally remembers Warren Spahn will always link the Braves to Boston.

Most incredibly, both these Boston teams realized what was happening, especially during the last week, and were unable to avoid their destiny.

The sox starters were as bad as Yankees 2nd string rookies...

Sox fans be gratefull... I think the players themselves knew they were not going anywhere in October and were glad to be out of it rather than play another series with same pathetic pitchers

If you cant play good ball you should not be there period..
