Beijing Air Quality Index tracker for folks without a VPN

http://iphone.bjair.info/

I found this after a long search because I was nearly puking all day Wednesday. I'm still trying to get the taste out of my mouth, and had to put in notice at work for the health of my two-year-old who has been seriously sick with "Asthma" (which she "developed" instantly) for about 3 weeks now... I didn't realize that the pollution had reached 424 before they shut down the factories. We had a day of around 50 AQI following and now we're back up to 162 and growing.... A coworker of mine thinks that the govie has full control of the pollution and does stuff around Thursday every week to get the pollution back down to healthy levels.
And KFC doesn't ventilate well because I could still smell and taste the pollution downstairs today.
I heard there is a store that sells pollution masks from Europe somewhere near the yong he gong temple. Does anyone know anything about that?
