The Beijing AQI seems to have a breakdown or a government crackdown; displaying only perfect clean non polluted fresh air in this smog. Has this happend before? Are there similar sites?
Cars were restricted and factories were closed during the Olympics, but not all days were rosy. The first few days the pollution was rife until the government made it rain. Nice try, where.

It doesn't look as flashy as the Iphone one, but it works!

True, during that two-week Olympics period Beijing had some of the clearest skies it's had in decades. Then it was back to normal...
I'd still say there's an 80% chance that pic above was 'shopped anyway.
