The place doesn't get much press, but it's worth a look. In and around Yin Chuan there are the Xi Xia tombs (Tangut Kings), He Lan Shan Yan Hua (prehistoric petroglyphs), Shui Dong Gou (prehistoric site, excavated in part by Teilhard de Chardin), Hui Minority Cultural Center, sundry museums, mosques, cheap gou qi berries. Very few people and bearable traffic!
