Can't reach my email server

I can't reach my email server.

Well most of the time. Every day or two I seem to have a hour window where I can ....

Webmail as well. Same for both my computers so it isn't a messed up PW coding at my end.

Any suggestions?

btw, I use Godaddy - can't even reach their website without a VPN

but of course when I'm on VPN I can't log in to email.

You could always access go-daddy via a proxy and not a vpn, no?

Yes, that's why I recommend to use a proxy. A proxy is not a VPN, a proxy only redirects your http and https traffic (your browser traffic, e.g. firefox) or any other service you want it to, provided you set this up beforehand! Any other traffic (mail, ftp etc.) will not be affected. Most VPN providers also allow the use of a proxy. Which VPN provider do you use (you can pm me if you don't want to share details in public)? Also, what is your e-mail setup? Exchange server? Outlook? Thunderbird? Web-interface? What's the error-code etc.
I might be wrong but I believe godaddy isn't exactly liked by the Government/GFW. There should be ways around this though.
