I am seeing a lot of ads promising delivery after a money transfer. When I ask to pay cash on delivery, they make up an excuse that they have to pay for delivery. So, they want full payment upfront. Some will ask for 2 payments, usually half now and half later.

While I support people doing whatever they want, I feel this site should foster a safer environment where the product will be delivered with the option of cash on delivery.

If the site stopped allowing ads that don't directly reference RMB amounts and will let the buyer purchase the item in person, after seeing it, or on delivery, then I feel the honest sellers would find alternative ways to sell to people in Beijing (or China).

I'll repeat that in case anyone missed it. The HONEST sellers will find another way to sell their products so buyers can see them in person before having to pay cash. The scammers won't see any point, since they were never going to send the product in the first place.

After all, this site is called "THE BEIJINGER". It specifically addresses a city within China. Let's keep it centralized to Beijing. It's safer and smarter.
