Downloading woes

I have been living here for 3 years and always download the shows from home I like. Dexter, Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones, and Family Guy are just a few I am downloading now, , , or should I say not downloading. My internet use to download them all day. Then they told me I could only download at night, now night is sometimes working sometimes not.
I am talking about bittorrents here, and if I can't download it is almost a deal breaker on staying here! I just started watching Sons of Anarchy ( have to say it is quite good ) and watched the first two seasons and now I can not download season 3. Not sure why.
Do they ( you know who ) block certain titles when downloading? can they? am I just paranoid? I know I have in the past tried to download National Geographic shows which had plenty of seeds and peers but it just said zero for all and would not download while other things I could download.
Anyone else suffer from downloading problems? Are certain internet companies better than others when it comes to this?

Lot of the problem is the US are blocking IP connections from Chinese IP addresses.
Lot of US websites block Chinese IP addresses viewing.
The West have a lot censorship and blocking going on so they can blame China in the hope it will cause unrest here, you know how it goes.

file sizes are smaller, download faster and works world wide much to the worlds dismay.

I got access to multiple servers in the UK and some other locations so I can connect from locations of choice,(VNC,VPN,Hamachi, networks with in networks) gets around most problems and the wrong doors get kicked down.

Yeah. It is faster at night (from midnight to dawn).

I use xunlei to open torrents and download stuff, instead of bittorrents. I have been using xunlei for some years. Pretty good.

I was using Funshion, but it rarely works for. I click on the button that starts the player, but it never starts the stream. Do you guys have this problem?
