Hello all,

Has anyone ever filed an I-130 petition for a spouse to immigrate to the U.S. at the Chicago lock-box while living in china? I don't have a long term visa or resident permit. Because of this I was told by the Guangzhou consulate that I have to file it in the U.S. Will I have any issues filing to the U.S. due to an address or non- physical presence issue? I have been in China 4 years with no return to the states and would like to stay here until I can return with my wife together.
