SKYRIM
Has anyone seen Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for the Xbox 360 yet?
I need an Role Playing Game fix like I used to get back in the early 90's, when we had real RPGs like Fallout, Baldur's Gate, or Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall. Games have dumbed down incredibly since then, but Skyrim should be a nostalgia trip. These days RPGs are b.s. like Dragon Age 2 and Final Fantasy.

Re: SKYRIM
The leveling system doesn't seem to look like it is going to much of an RPG, but I am getting it regardless. I am torrenting the PC version currently in case that's interesting to you..

Re: SKYRIM
It's brilliant, possibly their best work yet.
As good as "Fallout 3", miles above and beyond "Oblivion".
Technical issues aside it's like someone went back and completely fixed everything that ever sucked about Oblivion and kept all the amazing sh*t.
Classic rpg, I highly recommend it.

I'm waiting till they release a decent patch and the price comes down before picking it up.

Went into this topic to write this, and it's been said. It re-captures that great adventure feeling Morrowind had and Oblivion lacked. Perhaps I didn't really like the Cyrodil setting. And the land of Skyrim is amazing.
Glad they've abandoned the old "mathematical" leveling, everything is much more streamlined now but not dumbed down - the perk system is complicated just enough.
I bought a PS3 to play this game specifically, because it was cheaper to buy than an new computer. Spent around 15 hours with it this weekend. And I'm not really a gamer anymore =)

Re: SKYRIM
I got this on sale at Steam over Xmas and just got around to DLing it a couple weeks ago.
I used to be a big gamer, but kind of gave it up since I've been in China. Until now.
I feel a little silly being in my 40s and playing this, but Skyrim really is a work of art, not some arcade game. At least that's how I justify it.
Quick question Aier, or anyone: I bought Skyrim and Fallout: NV via Steam. If I download DLC torrents for these games, should they work okay or do they only work with the pirated game versions?

Re: SKYRIM
Probably need the latest crack for that, DLC torrents usually come with them.
AFAIK there is no Skyrim DLC yet?
There is a massive amount of community mods though, not difficult to install in the majority of cases.
Go to skyrim.nexusmods.com, I'm using many of the mods on that site.
If you're planning to torrent the DLCs you may want to look in to the steam side of things, IE will steam give you sh*t for that.

Re: SKYRIM
It is very good game. I love myself, however, the graphics should be a lot better. As well as things to do
