Somebody help me out please with these two expressions:

It's "Speaking of" or "Speak of", I used to think it's speaking of, then somebody pointed that it's "speak of", when I type them on google, both I got a lot of results.

Another expression is: Shred some light or shed some light.

Same thing, I can find both of them on google.

Someone elaborate a bit please?
