A trip to Beijing for the Chinese New Year- Any lodging suggestions?

Hi there,
I am a foreigner living in Guilin, and I know the Chinese New Year is around the corner. So, I want to plan a trip to Beijing to see how the northern Chinese people celebrate their festival. I am wondering any Beijng guys here to offer me some recommendation on hotel that I can live. I wish my lodging is near the Hutong, because I want to get close to the local Beijingers. Thanks.

HI

You may want to try Zuji for booking your hotel as well, that's where I normally go for booking my travel arrangements, sometimes you get special rates or gift certificates etc. You can click the following banner to visit the site...

Personally, I'd suggest you making a consideration for Holiday Inn Beijing Deshengmen as it is not far from "Hou Hai".

Cheers Smile

Chinese New Year is almost upon us! If you haven't already found proper lodging, here's a nice list to help you book Beijing hotels. Like Ansett said, Hou Hai is a great location for hutongs, northern Chinese culture, and NLGX craziness. It's also a great place to check out spectacular fireworks displays around this time of year. Grab some churros to keep you warm. Hope you enjoy your trip!
