Wow do visas really cost this much? If you're already in China, companies here seem to charge from 5,000 - 8,000 to get you any kind of F or Z visa.

If you're in your home country it seems like it's about the equivalent of 1,000--or even less.

You guys know what the best way to do this is? Let's just assume the employer doesn't sponsor it. Anyone know any good companies to go through or the best way to do this?
