Do they check Registration Form of Temp Residence you leave China?

Only just noticed on the temp residence form the dates for departure and visa expiry are the same - over a month ago! BUT my contract with my landlord and actual (F)visa dates are different (no problem, lots of time left), I didn't pay enough attention to the form at the time but guessing it's an admin error. However a little concerned that if they want to see the form at the border when leaving China it could lead to a headache...
Do they ask to see the temp residence form when departing China? I'm leaving by ferry from Tianjin this week...

If you are not leaving in Beijing but you got a visa extension in Beijing, after you go back to your location should need to renew your temporary form from local police station within one week, otherwise Beijing PSB Office will checking your temporary form which you were used to apply a visa at Beijing before.
When you leave China and come back also need to renew temporary residence form within one week, this is a Chinese Visa Policy as you know before.

No, Registration Form of Temporary Residence is NOT checked when you leave China ( at least through BCIA ). F visa's validity date depends upon its expiry date i.e. 3 months, 6 months or one year
from the date of issue. Registration Form of Temporary Form records "valid visa" i.e. the date holder should exit China ( depends on "number of days stay" i.e. 30,60, or 90, from the date of last entry. RFTR also records Date of Arrival & Date of Departure and these dates will vary from the dates on the visa endorsed in the passport.
Simply put, a multiple entry visa issued on 20th Jan 2012 valid for 6 months expires on 20th July 2012 - stay permitted on each entry say, 30 days. ( This will be on the endorsed visa in the passport ).
You enter China on 01st Feb 2012 and exit say after 20 days on 20th Feb 2012. You stayed in a Hotel ( you are not required to register at a police station separately ). You come back to China say, 01st March 2012 and stay at a private residence. In this case you need to register at the relevant Police Station and the RFTR issued will show Date of Arrival 01st March 2012, Date of Departure 31 March 2012 valid visa 31 March 2012.

Hi Guys,
I work in Beijing on a Z Residence permit Visa which is valid until June 30 2012. My Temporary registration Form is also valid up to same date of Residence permit. I was in France for Vacation and just back to Beijing Yesterday. Do I need to go Renew my Temporary Registration Form?

No. If Residence Permit is valid upto 30 Jun 2012, you dont have to renew it. The OP is about F visa.

Normally speaking, you don't need to renew the registration.
It happened when you leave China customs your registration record was offline. When you came back to Beijing, you had to renew the registration. It happened offen during the Beijing Olympic period. And it lasted for some time after the Olympic games.

Tracy 758 is right. You NEED to RENEW your Temporary registration Certificate when you leave China and re-enter.
This applies to ALL Chinese visas
I didn't renew mine and when I went for visa extension recently, the 2011form was rejected as expired cuz i entered the country in Jan 2012. I had to rush to the local police station to get a new one and was given a warning.
