Male domination
I have discovered long time ago that I am not a feminist, I am a anti-feminist. Look all the awesome stuff created by human beings, science and technology, business and finance, law and politics, the greatest writers and philosophers, you name it, most of them are done by men!!!
Women are so boring and petty. I wish my girlfriends can find something else to kill their time instead of making me hear their boring, longwinded, nonsensical chitchats! I don’t care what they think about men, brand names discounts, or, “look, who’s got a brand new bag ?”
I have the greatest sympathy for their men because they are responsible, some even legally, for hearing this kind of crap, having no statute of limitation!!! Haha. I wish I could have a temporary disease that cause me instant loss of all my hearing abilities and disfunction of my tongue, so it won’t be my fault that I am mute and deaf, suddenly.
Male domination, go boys! I support you!

Re: Male domination
Maggie Thatcher would probably have something to say about this though the jury’s still out on whether she really was a woman.
The Bronte sisters and Jane Austen could write a bit too and Jung Chang’s ‘Wild Swans’ is widely considered to be the best English-language novel about Modern China. And I’m sure I speak for everyone when I say that our lives have been changed irrevocably after hearing Lady Gaga's ‘Poker Face’ about 7,000 times in bars, shops, shopping malls over the last few years.
But your basic point stands correct. The interesting question is whether it is because of the subjugation of women that existed and still exists in many societies or whether men just naturally have a bit more ‘get up and go’ and dynamism when it comes to getting important s**t done.

Re: Male domination
Women are pretty boring - as well as being incapable of reason!
Having said that, all-male environments tend to get a bit feral...

Actually that's a false dichotomy.
What is coming to light in books such as Delusions of Gender (Cordelia Fine) is that if you tell girls that they like pink, don't need to be competitive, are more emotional etc then it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Check out the book. It will certainly change the way you think about gender roles and even basic aspect of psychology and psychological research methods.

Wow, kudos! It really takes some special kind of chick to enlighten/admit to all that.

Re: Male domination
Many feminists would argue that women has not been great innovators, because society doesn't allow it. Throughout history, women has been expected to cook & serve and has, for most of the time, been banned from having an education.
Then you have all the (lack of) expectations people have on women.
If you take your daughter; dress her up like some dumb pink Hello Kitty mascot, then tell her that what's best about her is that she's small and cute, then that's what she's going to become.
Then later on, when she's an adult and can manage to f*** herself a millionaire because she's so "small and cute", it will be the LV-bags and prada shoes, instead of the hello kitty sets.
famous brands are for great people, eh?
In the end, she's a passive, nearly pointless by-stander of someone else's success. She might have contributed to society, by giving her husband one or two inspirational f***s, but that's about it.
That's why one should raise a daughter to be f-ing loud
and now i also remember why i'm not attracted to Asian women

Only special chicks like Easy Rider.
The only problem is...it's too late. Years of left wing claptrap telling us men should be like women and vice versa and the result? Most Japanese men don't even want a gf! The whole US space industry is closing up shop. Famous men footballers have the f-ing cheek to cry on the football pitch and think it is ok.
Men are now women.
Domination? You must be joking. But those of us that are left must still try.

Re: Male domination
Women have *never* been men, nor will they be.
You're right, NASA sending astro(cosmo?)nauts up from Russia is a SHAME I can't even describe.
Feminism, lefty-ism, zionism etc are to blame. And despite how obvious it's all become, nothing seems like it's about to change (at least not for the better)
So all we've got to do at this point is damage control.
Catastrophic damage control.

Re: Male domination
Nooooo
You said women are boring and petty. I'm saying that only 'traditional' and non-feminist women are petty and boring, they bring nothing of value to any relationship besides a shaved v*****.
If you're not a feminist, then you suck, that's all I'm saying...
'Traditional' women have no good qualities at all, most of you are doormats for men, and the ones whom are not doormats are usually boring, petty, and neeeeeeeedy.

Re: Male domination
I see, boy, i know where our problems lie in now.
You said non-feminist women are boring and petty. Dear, I have been on a journey for self-discovery for almost a decade now. I realised as a woman, the most enjoyable part of being one is to act like one. I enjoy all the benefits modernisation brings me, I can work, have sex whenever i want and with whoever i want. I can say no to incompetent dates and tell them to get lost. In a word, I can live like a man and do all the manly stuff if i want. I am not boring, maybe a little petty and nerdy, but... I am a woman!
I still want to be a woman in front of someone, like what it is like in the old days.
You get it boy?

women talking about handbags are boring and men talking about cars are boring
whether someone is great or boring does not depend on gender (or age or nationality or sexual orientation or ...) but only on individual personality

Re: Male domination
You're all missing her point: she's talking about traditional male attributes such as aggression, willingness to take dangerous risks, good old fashioned f-ing violence, and total arrogance.
Come on, we all know, without asking fruit-bat cranks that call themselves sociologists or psychologists, that women avoid risks at all costs. You know they will get the guy in their lives to take the risk whilst they sit back and take the credit or else find another guy if he gets it in the neck. It is probably hard-wired into their genes as a way of protecting the unborn child.
On the other hand, guys are prepared to take unbelievable risks. Look at the guys that finally landed on the moon...I mean how much risk-taking, foolhardy bravado and bombadier spirit did that take? And it's always the 'modern(girl-like)men' that say landing on the Moon was no big deal. Donald Campbell was another. The Wright Brothers, Yuri Gagarin. For Christs sake...on the re-entry Gagarins chute didn't open properly so the capsule was hurtling down at X thousand miles an hour, spinning round and round, until it burnt through some cables that were preventing the chute from opening. As you know he made it back alive. But he didn't complain. The guy was a real man.
Compare him to somebody like Russel Brand.
And conversely, people like Serenaselchie lament the way women no longer look or behave like Marilyn Monroe who was allowed to be a real sensuous, curvy, attractive, feminine, sexy woman. A real woman. And that is not to say she could not be tough. Women are also better than men at a lot of things.
It's almost like 'feminine' has become a dirty word.
I say let women be women, and boys be boys.
I for one do not want to go out with a woman that dresses like a womnan, but thinks she's a man. That wears lipstick but looks like a man.
Now...can we get back to taking some real risks please.
Mars anyone?

Re: Male domination
Further: These traditional male attributes such as a propensity to take risks, violence, aggression and fearless bravado are frowned upon or even banned in a modern, risk averse feminized society. We have become Hello-Kittyfied.
As well as destructive to both men and women, it is incredibly harmful to the long term prospects for the survival of our species. To move out into space before an asteroid hits us, or Yellowstone park erupts and terminates the usefulness of Earth as a habitat, we are going to have to take some serious risks to prove we can survive in another place apart from this planet. We need to do this because we cannot stay here forever.
I pin the blame fairly and squarely on the shoulders of left wing, authoritarian, nanny state busy bodies. The psychotic fringe of the feminist movement that would have been happy getting rid of all men. So powerful did their influence become in books and academia that they partially succeeded in 'ironing out' the spiky bits of the male psyche. We de-constructed then re-modelled man as
Hello Kitty.
Harmless, hairless men that cry. That spend longer in the bathroom applying make-up than women. Or, who, like Elton Johns partner decide to get pregnant.
The disgusting, downfall of man.
So where do we go from here?

Re: Male domination
You're talking about your old traditional 'female roles' but being a feminist doesn't mean that women are trying to become men or act like men.
I already told you what I think about women whom enjoy limiting themselves to being 'traditional'
