Men and Their Mothers...
How close is too close? I swear, sometimes it's just too much! It pains me to spend any modicum of time with mama's boys. I cannot even be acquaintances with them. I just lose all respect.
I mean, it's a good thing to love your mother, revere and respect her, but then again, sometimes you've gotta let her ass know that you're still a man, and you're going to live your own life...

Re: Men and Their Mothers...
So many of them around. What about that Portugese footballer, what's he called..Ronaldo or something? He won't have a word said against his mummy. Even pushes his Gf to one side to go out with her.
Why is this such a striking phenomena in this day and age?
Could it have something to do with mens' changing role in society? The fact that wifeys love isn't unconditonal any more like mummys? That would then explain 25 year old men snuggling up close to mom, I mean they meay as well still be suckling.
Pathetic, isn't it?
I had a huge bust up with my family when my mum left me at age 13. She came back, but I never forgave her for it. I don't have respect for parents at all anymore. I mean, they are the ones that have the kids, why do it if you arent't prepared to look after them? Very close families on the other hand give me the creeps, you are right, it cannot be healthy at all.
You know that some Italian boys stay at home living with mummy into their forties?
You sound like you've met a load of 'new men'. I bet they were all PC left wingers? You should avoid those people because in my opinion they are the least sincere, bigoted bunch of mummys boys on earth.
Maybe we should do like they used to do in Israeli Kibbutz: take the kids away from the parents from morning till night so they become better able to develop bonds with people other than mummy.
Goddamn families, I hate them.
Great post! This has been on my mind for some time. Obnoxious brother of mine was like that, telling mum he loved her all the time. Excue me whilst I just vomit.

Re: Men and Their Mothers...
I think jackass misses his mummy too. I guess being a black man in CN he is finding out it isn't quite the same as being a black man in the UK or US where he gets special privileges because of something that happened 300 years ago. And boy do people like him play on that mollycoddling, breast-suckling, spoilt-brat don't speak to me or I will sue you for discrimination existence.
When are you people going to start to grow up? There is no place for muggers in a civilized society. Out here, your words are sh*t. Your complaints about 300 years ago laughable. Learn to live with this or go back to the land of your heritage.

Re: Men and Their Mothers...
Fully agree with Traysay22. If you are a mama's boy, your just not where it is at. They cannot live for love and die for love!
If your mother really cared about you, she would have taught you to cook, to clean for yourself, made you use your two hands and enlightened you that you need a lady for other purposes besides cleaning and cooking. She also should have allowed u you to stand by your successes and fall by your mistakes, make live and die by your own decisions, thus enabling u to mature and be the BEST!
Most of all, she would have kicked you out of the house at 18 yrs old if you still lived there. I love my mom for all this she did for me, but since I pay my own bills, if she disagrees with what I decide, it is her business and it's Ok with me. if she ever wants to cause a problem or make a scene over what I do.....well....she can either pay my bills or kiss my *ss.
Last I looked, it's my life.
Mama boys go run to your mommy. I want my mommy. I miss sucking the tit. I'm afraid to live without some moral insurance. I'm afraid of the rain.
Mama told me not to cum, but she was wrong. I found heaven on earth once I found there was something better than my hand.
If your hungover and wishing you were dead, then its not so bad. If your hungover and wondering why your not dead it might be bad.

Re: Men and Their Mothers...
I get the impression Traysay is on about guys that compare women they're going out with to their mothers.
So many women involved in all of this...
Maybe men ought to stop looking for a mum or Gf shaped prop?
Blackgrey, why do you respect your Bf's mother, she's an in-law
blackgrey
Re: Men and Their Mothers...
1 respect everyone. what's more, she is my husband's mother, she raised my husband up, my husband was from her belly, well no her, no my husband, so that i can not meet my husband. so thank her. i respect her so much.
2 if i do not respect her, my husband must be upset, so we are unhappy between us.
3 i hope my husband also respects my parents.
If can do one thing, would be great.

Re: Men and Their Mothers...
18 years old, i kick my son out of the house. 18 years old, i can not kick my daughter out of the house bascially, unless she finds her own another warm home.

Re: Men and Their Mothers...
what i'm going on about is men that are like, "oh, my mom wouldn't like this or that"...and consciously use that in their decision making process...
f*** what your mother thinks or wants...be a man...tell her to shut her trap if you need to (as nicely and respectfully as you can, of course)...

Re: Men and Their Mothers...
I think people are retards if they just simply kick a child out because they are 18. Get a grip.
Yeah, f*** what your mother thinks!
Have some balance.
Some people here must really have had a bad upbringing. Sorry about that.
But I do agree with the OP's thoughts. People need to learn to make their own choices. The cord needs to be cut eventually. But there should always be a loving relationship.

yea, i see that.
its because they havent got the guts to rise above their own mother/her grip is strong, some will do anything to keep it that way.
maybe?
also screws the kids up

Re: Men and Their Mothers...
You're right of course Walls, some kids develop much later and you can't just turf them out that would be just as wrong or worse for a boy or girl.
I suppose you've gotta push them at the right time and hope you brought them up right. But what the hell would I know, I've never done it.
Black and Grey you did what???? You kicked your son out? OMG
Where did he go, the Salvation Army?
PS Walls might be interested Im now watching a Blu Ray Disc of the 1979 Star Trek the motion picture. Of course starring Leonard Nimoy, Shatner, DeForest Kelly, James doohan, George Takei, Nichelle Nichols etc
Out of curiosity(we know which version of ST Zhenlai likes)have you got any time for DS9, TNG, Enterprise..?
Should the captain be a woman(Janeway)?

Re: Men and Their Mothers...
After due consideration, I'm not quite sure what you mean Traysay. Isn't everyone influenced by their mum, consciously or subconsciously? Men that vocalize it the way you say are so obviously being nasty especially if it is used as weight to their argument against a Gf.
Even if they don't say it out loud, how are you going to be sure they aren't still being influenced by the old doll?
blackgrey
Re: Men and Their Mothers...
Every child in the subconscious will be influenced by their parents, not only their mother, but also their father.
the most adept thing of children is imitating, even unconscious imitating.

my parents are more than 80 years old, they are racing with the time. i am not sure how many hours i have to visit them. if i have time to visit them, of course, i will pay attention to my parents. cuz at least i know my spouse is alive, and can be alive for a long time.

Re: Men and Their Mothers...
There is nothing wrong with men in their forties, or older, living with their parents. This is the normal thing to do in most of the world. It is only a silly, modern, American idea that parents are supposed to kick their children out. Families are the basis of societies. They should stick together.
