Racism and bigottery on the Beijinger.com, message to administrators and users.
Dear Administrators and Users of thebeijinger.com,
I belong to a group of internet activists based in Beijing and couple weeks ago my associates brought your website’s forum to my attention. Being Chinese myself, I can’t even start to begin expressing how I feel when I go through some of the threads on this forum. China is being verbally attacked with hateful and extremely racist posts and this almost since the creation of this website. Being mostly used by foreign users based in China or overseas, this website managed to remain relatively off Chinese authorities radar but this is about to change.
As activists we strive to render the internet as accessible as possible, fighting the censorship as hard as we can. Over the years our fight has been rewarded with few but considerable achievements, if Wikipedia is now accessible it is partly because of us. Now this fight is rendered vain and obsolete by this kind of behavior on forums accessible in China. You are giving more reasons to the Chinese government to censor as they please. More importantly, you are creating racism. If the people of Beijing knew what is being said on a website called “thebeijinger”, what do you think would be their reaction?
For your information a file has been built against thebeijinger.com. We’ve gathered over 250 racist posts and comments, time and dates, with I.P addresses of perpetrators. We are giving 7 working days starting from the posting time of this thread to the administrators of thebeijinger.com to “clean” their forum. They are required to remove any racist and insulting comment or post against China and other countries. Also they will I.P ban perpetrators to prevent them from coming back.
Refusing to comply will result in us providing the adequate Chinese authority with the relevant information which will result in putting “thebeijing.com” in the black listed websites of China. In short, the website will be censored in China rendering its access impossible within the great firewall. Also, racist comments will be entirely translated in Simplified Chinese and posted on the main websites and blogs in China, starting with Weibo. Last but not least, I.P addresses of perpetrators along with those hateful translated comments will be released on the Human Search Engine of China.
This message hasn’t been sent to administrators and is the only copy. Administrators should be aware of what is being said on their forums, I highly recommend to moderators to forward this message to those in charge because the clock is ticking… .
We are giving you a chance to make things right, don’t miss it.
You can contact us here : theagents@163.com
Kindly yours,
Agent H.

I have no idea if you are who, or what, you say you are, but i will say the same to you that I say to everyone who posts this kind of thread. Provide links to where exactly you think "China is being verbally attacked with hateful and extremely racist posts" and I'll take a look at them. If they are as racist and offensive as you suggest, I'll take them down.
In the mean time, how about tbj users also post links to Chinese forums and websites that contain possibly racist and derogatory remarks about foreigners and western countries? Will OP be as willing to 'look down upon' those alleged racist places as here?

If that's a troll, it's a damn good one!

This thread seems to have been moved to the trash, but I don't think it belongs there, so I've put it back.
As i said, if someone has a legitimate problem with our forum, then say so, and it will be looked into. But you need to say where exactly you have a problem with, and provide links, before we can look into it.
So please OP, provide those links that you are taking about, the threads that you have issue with, just a few, and I'll look into it.

Apparently, 'Agent H' was banned, but not by me. I there ask 'him' to create another account, come back, and addresses the points I made above.
Neither I nor tbj will answer demands or threats. But if you want dialogue, I'm listening. Post the links you refer to here, and I'll look at them.
Also, answer my other question about taking your same stance here, with other Chinese websites that contain racism against foreigners and the west.
And finally, for the record, if you have access to all our IP addresses, just out of interest, what country am I currently posting from?
The floor is yours, Agents.

Yeah, how did this "agent" from "The Agency" get everyone's IP addresses HC? Does anyone else smell a mole at TBJ.

Well, almost 12 hours, and no response from this 'agent'.
I think I am being quite open to this persons point of view, but seemingly, he no longer wants to discuss it.
And no, tbj never gives IP info out, unless required to do so by law. OP was claiming to be able to hack our servers and get IP information. But if that is true, OP should be able to quite simply say which country I am posting from.

That minute before you realised that Rob used to talk about "the Human Search Engine of China."
That was your downfall.
In the future you can brag that you were once downfalled for a whole minute.
