What is BJDJs?

It is a meetup for people that DJ either as a hobby or professionally or for people that want to start. We have people of all skill levels coming.

This is what happens at a BJDJ meetup: Everyone shows up, gets a drink, talks for a while, and signs up on the sign-up sheet for their time slot. Then people start playing their sets. We generally play until no one is left and then go get some food and hang out some more.

The idea is that you prepare your best, most technically impressive 20 minute mini-mix, and try to wow everyone and we do the same. The goal is to learn something and have some fun while networking with the other Beijing DJs.

Right now we are meeting at Siif.

So if you have time on the 1st or 3rd Tuesday of the month come to Siif and bring your tunes.

Siif doesn't have any decks right now so it is a bring your own gear affair. Although, I do have a Traktor S4 and a lot of the DJs just bring their own tunes and use my gear. Of course any of you are welcome to do the same.
