Rugby Union 6 Nations

starts this weekend! Does anyone know if the matches are shown on a local TV channel or are we bound to the BBC Iplayer? Any other possibilities?

Re: Rugby Union 6 Nations

I'm not sure how useful this information will be but I know that some of my friends went to watch the rugby world cup at a bar in Sanlitun in October. Unfortunately at this time year it seems the rugby will get overshadowed by the superbowl. You could try an Irish bar called Paddy O'Sheas which is in the CBD.

Good luck!

Re: Rugby Union 6 Nations

Paddy O'Sheas will have all the matches on, as will The Den on the intersection of Gongti Donglu and Gonti Beilu, and The Stumble Inn also has it on at the village.

If you are streamming it, there are some good streams at http://www.wiziwig.tv/competition.php?discipline=football&part=sports , but you'll need to install Sopcast for the better ones.

I'd recommend The Den as they got a new Satellite package for the Rugby World Cup and so the games are definitely being shown and will be on an uninterrupted tv channel rather than a stream.
