First Day in Beijing
Hello,
I arrived today and my apartment is nice. I took a long walk, and by luck, happened to find my way back to my apartment. I found a noodle shop and it was good, and a place to buy beer, so I can survive. Tomorrow, I am going to brave the subway, and check out the Square, etc. But I would love to find a coffee shop. Is there a Starbucks someone can recommend, in Chaoyang? Thanks!

P.S. I hope you realized that my mentioning Starbucks was a sort of comedic nod to the Starbucks post below lol. But seriously, where can a bougre get a good cup of coffee in Chaoyang?

If you found your way back home the first day either you did not stray afar, did not get laid yet, or are still sober.. =D>
If your hungover and wishing you were dead, then its not so bad. If your hungover and wondering why your not dead it might be bad.

Haha..yeah, I do not even know my address at the apartment yet, so I was a bit hesitant to get lost. But I found a place to buy beer, so I am working on the last one now.

Not sure if you realize this yet Poindexter, but chaoyang is like half the size of the city. Maybe you can narrow it down a little before asking again.
Damn I'm hot. I'm on fire!

Re: First Day in Beijing
Ouch. You're f***ed. In your case, the best bet is to get off at Dongdan and head to Wanfujing to find a starbucks or something. You can also get onto line two, get off at Donsishitiao and walk east for about 20 minutes till you see some beg stadiums and a hooters. Keep going east another five minutes and you'll be in San Li Tun, walk round there.
I demand good spices.

Of course I do. I can get anywhere quickly for 2 yuan. Why would I use any other means of transportation?

This is a fantastic site and very engaging too. Excellent work! That’s not really much coming from an amateur publisher like me, but it’s all I could think after enjoying your posts. Not like other site. You really know what you’re talking about too. So much that you made me want to explore more. Your blog has become a stepping stone for me, my friend. Thanks for the detailed journey. I really enjoyed the posts that I have read.......70-516 book // 70-647 testlets // 70-686 vce // exam 70-652 // exam 70-576 // mcdst 70-271 // 70-450 pdf // exam 70-649 //
