June 7, 2009 Over 200 people turned out for the first Pub Quiz to End All Pub Quizes, organized by the Beijinger and co-sponsored by Tun, City Bus Tours, Cofco wines, Morpho Helena, The Taj Pavilion, The Bookworm, Immersion Guides, Tim's Texas Roadhouse, Frank's Place, Paddy O'Shea's, Lush and The Pomegranate; and featuring a who's-who of local quizmasters, including Paul Eldon of The Bookworm, Julian Fisher of Tim's Texas Roadhouse, Glen Phelan of Danger Doyle's, Graham Forbes of Frank's Place, Karl Long of Paddy O'Shea's and the Pomegranate, and Josh Lally of Lush. Congratulations to "The Five Percent Solution" team, who won IG gift packs, worth RMB 500 each, and bragging rights as Beijing's baddest pub quiz team.
