Camp the Wall

Camp The Wall offers weekend camping trips at an unrestored section of the Great Wall outside Beijing. These budget trips are all included: transportation, tents, food, water, snacks and a guide. Trips depart every other Saturday near Tian'anmen Square with a private bus with a group of max. 22 people. Arrive at a local village to have a bite after hiking up to the Wall and setting up camp. Then explore more of the wall until sunset when you will meet back at camp for a BBQ dinner (vegetarian option available). Hang out around a campfire until you go to sleep in your tent under the stars.

Warehouse

The opening of Warehouse on Di'anmenwai Dajie just might be a dream come true. That is, if your wildest dreams consist of exchanging USD 20 for a bulging bag full of grandma's eccentric garment collection at the Bargain Bin.
This spacious shop has several roomy fitting rooms, round clothing racks, and – get this – competitve prices.

Chi Garden

Chi Garden chooses a minimalist decor – bare white walls, mirror shelves, and ivory-colored pebbles – and creates an optimal space for small-scale events and photo shoots. Because owner Wang Hua received feedback from
shoppers that her hutong location was far from convenient, Hua later expanded Chi Garden to a “moving closet” concept, where customers could browse looks online, request delivery to anywhere, and receive style advice.
