Good food, but sometimes not enough

Review of Purple Haze Courtyard
4

I went to Purple Haze bistro once, and I took a lunch set. From what I can say the food is as good as in Purple Haze (which means simply delicious) but the lunch set isn't a good idea, unless maybe if you're alone.
Indeed, portions are really small, and ordering "normal" dishes that you'll share with several people may not cost much more, but will satisfy your appetite much much more.

Apart from that, also a peaceful place with nice furniture.

I live in Fulicheng and like the Thai restaurant on

Xiong giang da dao at the corner of Tien li jie. Not great but then Beijing is not a great place to dine period. An average neighbor hood Thai place in Queens NYC is better than the best in Beijing. Frankly that is sometimes even true for Chinese food.

There is a great noodle shop on the southeast corner across the street with much better vegetables.
