This is the only place where you can get genuine German cake and bread except the Kempinski. Der Baecker is qualitywise not the same. So you have a second chance to avoid the so called Chinese "cake" which is a mix of sugar and cream. Even their cake is not as good as Kempinski's it's cheaper and still very good. Warm dishes are fine, too and upstairs is a cozy place for a Sunday afternoon.
