this place thrives on insecurity -- all the customers look like the kind of people who would be too afraid to admit that it's just so-so for fear of being labeled "unsophisticated."

it's about half as good as any hotel brunch in this city, and about 3x the price. pretty weak.

the waitstaff are nice, though.
