I've lived close to this butcher since it opened. The rotisserie chickens are good, the quality and selection of meats is very good. Many different cuts are available and they are always happy to give you what you want. I remember one day they brought out a whole cow carcass for one customer so he could point at exactly what cut he wanted. I generally buy steaks there, and also get them to mince beef for burgers - it's all top quality stuff, prepared correctly.

They also have lots of other nice butcher things you can't get anywhere else. I got some goose fat there a while back and did roast potatoes in that, lovely. Home made sausages too and big hams etc. Good cheese selection, better than april gourmet's.

I don't know if they still have a menu and cook, they used too, I tried that once and it wasn't very special and too pricey. As a butchers though, it's excellent, so 5 stars.
