Not affliated with Purple Haze management
Excuse me, but I don't think panic and disturbed is how most people would characterize my response to your review - which was very harsh and negative. I think it is quite normal to question someone with such strong views on a restaurant as yourself for other options which are better, which helps put context on your original review. You indicate you "don’t know how a Thai restaurant without Thai people around can cook authentic Thai foods and win “Best Thai Restaurant” so I was curious to hear which restaurant you thought was more authentic and better. Even if Purple Haze is as terrible as you suggest, it might still be the best in Beijing if there is no better one.
Most of us come here to find out where would be good places to eat. So perhaps you might want to make some thoughtful suggestions rather than shouting in all CAPs how insulted you are by the fact that other people liked the restaurant you disliked. Any review as negative as yours is inviting response. You will see from other posts I have made here asks readers for alternatives when they suggest in negative reviews that there are better options are available.
And no, I don't work in the food or beverage industry, and certainly not with Purple Haze. I do like Thai food however, and am trying to find good options for Thai food in Beijing. Thanks for your help.
