I like Shinkong for the dining options on the 5th floor and for occasional kid visits to the toy department (with free play area!) and the Panasonic exhibit on the 4th floor. Usually I would not bother to buy anything there as my assumption would be that it's going to be overpriced.

I was killing some time wandering through the appliances section and spotted a Braun blender I wanted, and it was priced at RMB 699. I figured for sure the price would be cheaper at a place like a Suning appliance superstore, so I held out and went to Suning to compare, and whattya know, the same model at Suning was 779.
