I had never been to the Lidu location before and decided to give it a try for a meeting with some ex colleagues. After being intimidated by the oversized menus, had to ask the server for some recommendations. Of course, he started recommending some of the most expensive items on the menu and telling me not to bother with some of the lower priced items that I had wanted to sample. To make a long story short, I ordered what I wanted to originally and accepted one of his higher priced suggestions.
Overall, the presentation and food quality seemed good but I am far from being an expert on this type of food. It certainly is a convenient place, not loud, and not outrageously expensive. For me, maybe a once a year visit would be sufficient.
