My teeth were way overdue cleaning - it'd been at least 8 years since I'd visited a dentist - but I was a bit apprehensive about visiting a dental clinic here based on my past experiences with public hospitals.

Needless to say, I was very surprised. Arrail's facilities are extremely clean and they use modern equipment. In fact, it was much better than my last dental experience back home.

It seems that the only complaint the other reviewers have is in regards to the relatively high prices (compared to lesser places such as Jiamei). Yes, it is expensive "for China", but it's worth it - back home, I would be paying even more if I didn't have insurance. Also, if you search on Taobao you can buy prepaid cards and the cost of cleaning is much less - the card I got covers two cleanings within a year and one set of X-rays, all for much less than the 500 RMB quoted above.

I never thought I'd say this, but I'm actually looking forward to my next visit!
